Cover three
Hey guys, I've got some versions of my third cover and I added some color. Mostly playing around with forms. Just need a little feedback, been staring at them too long. Let me know what you all think.
I like the aesthetics of the first concept for the "the roaring silence" cover. I also like the color palette. I do wonder a lil bit if the mood that it projects is tad too much towards asteroid collision. To me that is more "birth", "explosion", "impact"...
The second concept for the cover I like better because it really says a lot with minimal stuff. The white bars to me says "I've said a lot of things, but I've been silenced." I like it. It would be really cool if you add some subtle details to the white bars so that they're not just clean cut rectangles, but has some rough edges or some sign of wearing (either on the edges or on the surface) to indicate that something was roaring (or maybe still roaring and trying to get out), and it took a bit of a struggle to silence it maybe? :) Just a thought...
